Be Like Stonewall

Have you ever watched You are the Apple of My Eye? If yes then you're probably familiar with Kai Ko, the lead actor. Well, personally I like watching his movies, the genres might be similar, but the themes are usually unique.

Recently I watched A Choo on Netflix. (Spoiler alert!)

This movie tells a story about Hsin-hsin, EJ, and Han-Chien. They grew up on an orphanage and became besties since when they're little kids. Once it's time for them to move out they took a different path. Hsin-hsin wanted to be a teacher. Han-Chien wanted to be a police man. EJ, driven by his love for Hsin-hsin, decided that he wanted to become a fighter because he always thought Hsin-hsin loves brave guy.

Soon enough EJ rose to fame as a fighter.

But this is the interesting part.

He became famous not because he won all the matches. In fact, he lost in every single match. But he quickly become idol for kids because of one thing.

He never give up.

He stands until the very last round. He became the icon of persistence, perseverance. Therefore, his nickname is Stonewall.

Winning is always a good thing. But keep on holding on is not an easy task either. EJ went through a lot of physical training before he became a fighter, before people called him Stonewall. And even if he and everybody know he never win a match, he still can take pride in his work.

So be like Stonewall!

Even if you feel you're losing, don't stop. Just keep on moving, keep on doing, and take pride in your work. Like people said, good things take time.
